Damp proof course CONFOL ALFA

Application
- Intended for construction of foundations horizontal insulation
- It prevents the ingress of moisture from the ground
- It protects the walls of buildings against moisture and the development of fungi and molds, cutting off the process of capillary rising
- Confol Alfa foil can also be used as an anti-moisture insulation when installing wooden window joinery, and together with bituminous mass it is perfect for joining various insulations
- It protects the wood against the ingress of moisture as an insulation between the wall and the bottom chord

ASSEMBLY
Horizontal insulation, e.g. Confol Alfa or Gamma, should be placed over the entire width of the footing, with at least 20 cm overlaps. A well-laid membrane does not require additional gluing at the joints, because the pressure of the wall is sufficient to ensure proper insulation due to the vulcanization of the membrane, but it must be tightly connected with the Conbud waterproofing.
The width of the horizontal insulation should be slightly wider than the footing. This will prevent any accidental migration of moisture.
