Damp proof course CONFOL GAMMA

  • Very high watertightness ≥ 60 kPa
  • It protects the walls of the building against moisture coming from the ground, preventing the development of fungi and mold
  • Special embossing on the surface of the insulation prevents it from moving in the layer of mortar
  • Multiple times greater flexibility and lower weight than the insulation of horizontal foundations of similar thickness made of PVC significantly facilitate the installation
  • The use of polyethylene in the production of Confol Gamma instead of PVC makes the insulation have better bending and cracking parameters at low temperature

ASSEMBLY

Horizontal insulation, e.g. Confol Alfa or Gamma, should be placed over the entire width of the footing, with at least 20 cm overlaps. A well-laid membrane does not require additional gluing at the joints, because the pressure of the wall is sufficient to ensure proper insulation due to the vulcanization of the membrane, but it must be tightly connected with the Conbud waterproofing.

The width of the horizontal insulation should be slightly wider than the footing. This will prevent any accidental migration of moisture.
