WHAT TO
PAY ATTENTION TO?

CE MARK

First and foremost, always pay attention to whether the film bears the CE mark, which indicates that the film is intended for construction use. The manufacturer of such a CE-marked film must meet a number of requirements for their product, such as:

  • Testing of key film parameters in 3rd party laboratories
  • Issue of declaration of performance with test results
  • Maintain product repeatability using factory production control, which eliminates introduction of defective products into the market.

PROPER INSTALLATION

When the desired film is purchased, make sure to hire a reliable contractor to carry out insulation installation for you. Even the best insulation, if installed in a building improperly, will not serve its purpose. Refer to the tab below for installation instructions.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

ESSENTIAL
INFORMATION

  1. When choosing CE marked insulation, make sure to check the film thickness and tolerance which can be found on the label. A good product should be at least 0.2 mm thick and its tolerance should not be greater than ± 30%. The products we recommend feature a thickness of at least 0.3 mm.
  2. Films with the word "type" in their name are not construction foils, their purpose is to temporarily protect different surfaces against adverse weather conditions.
