On June 21, we had the pleasure of participating in the St. John’s Parish Fair held in Wielkie Rychnowo and organized by the Volunteer Fire Brigade of Wielkie Rychnowo, local Rural Housewives’ Associations, and the village councils of Wielkie Rychnowo, Nowy Dwór and Borówno.

At the Conkret stand, children had the opportunity to test their knowledge of proper waste segregation. Their task was to match different types of waste with the appropriate recycling bins. Children also had the opportunity to learn about Conkret’s activities and why recycling is important for the environment. Visitors to our stand could also enjoy free lemonade, which proved especially popular with children during the warm summer afternoon.

Each child who completed the activity received a commemorative diploma and a small gift for the upcoming summer holidays. In addition, a draw for the main prizes was held among the participants. During the event, participants also had the opportunity to support a local community initiative by purchasing donation vouchers. The funds raised will contribute to the construction of a new hall that will serve local residents as a venue for meetings, training sessions and community events. We are also pleased to share that Conkret supported this initiative by purchasing donation voucher number 1.

We are pleased to have supported an event that combined environmental education, fun and local community integration. We would like to thank the organizers and all participants for the great atmosphere and the time spent together.
